Floribunda Rose

This Latin name translates as "many flowered" or "abundance of flowers" and the Floribunda rose surely lives up to its name. These roses are among the most colorful of the modern roses. Their blooms are arranged in low-growing large clusters.
Many consider the Floribunda a better variety than the Hybrid Tea, their ancestor, largely because of its capacity to continue producing blooms over an extended period of time. Furthermore, they are much more hearty and resilient than Hybrid Tea roses.
Floribundas are available in a vast array of colors and styles and can grow as high as 4 feet. They are often grown for display rather than as a cut flower. Planted as an elegant landscape bush, they can produce abundant color for many seasons.
The Rob Roy has become very popular in recent years. It blooms in a deep red color and proffers a sweet soft scent. As long as there aren't any severe frosts, they will bloom continually from spring until late fall. They produce an extremely bold showing when planted in large clusters.

Peace Flowers

Flower remedy had its beginnings in ancient civilizations, and is currently making a strong comeback. The idea behind it is the natural ability of flowers to help us feel better, ultimately helping to treat and prevent diseases. Maladies that have shown to be improved via flower therapy include depression, stress, menstrual cramps, and fatigue. Biologically, there is as yet no clear explanation of how positive effects take place, but it is thought that neurochemicals in our brains are released by the stimulation of flowers’ colors and scents, affecting negative emotions. When negative emotions like fear and anxiety are decreased, our immune systems strengthen. This theory is as difficult to prove as it is to disprove, yet a point strongly in favor of the theory is that it is a known fact that when we are emotionally feeling vulnerable and weak, our chances of falling physically ill increase. The sight and smell of flowers, especially when received as a gorgeous bouquet, help brighten moods, and the positive effect remains as long as the flowers are blooming. As common as flowers are after lovers’ fights or hospital stays, flowers never become common themselves. This is because they truly manage to inspire calmness and happiness which helps us to overcome the emotional distresses that keep us down.

Mardi Gras Rose

Make sure that your garden is properly fertilized. This will keep your roses growing healthy and upright. But be careful not to overdo the fertilizer because it contains concentrated chemicals, especially Nitrogen. If this happens, the plant may be damaged and can grow unwanted extra leaves instead of blooms. To keep your garden healthy, use a fertilizer with the right ratio of nutrients. This will balance the growth of the roses and maintain the nutrients of the soil in your garden.
Check if your garden has enough foliage. If the bush you are growing does not have enough foliage, it will not produce the food the plant needs to make flowers. All your hard work and waiting will be wasted. Inadequate foliage or fertilizer can also result in some diseases.

Dream Come True Rose

Dream Come True is a stunning sight of catchy colors, which lures the likes of even non-rose lovers to its side. This rose produces flawlessly formed yellow blossoms, blushed with ruby-red at the tips, all set amongst abundant matte green foliage. The big, bushy vigorous plant yields long-stemmed, long-lived blooms with mild tea fragrance, making it lovely in the landscape and a great choice for bouquets.
Dream Come True was hybridized by Dr. John Pottschmidt of Cincinnati, Ohio – only the 3rd amateur hybridizer to win the AARS Award in 67 years – and introduced by Weeks Roses of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.

Touch of class Rose

The Hybrid Tea Rose is a modern rose, the offspring of 2 old timers getting together: the Hybrid Perpetual and the Tea Rose. These magnificent modern flowers grow on long stems and bloom throughout the year. Although this rose gives off only a faint scent, it makes up for this shortcoming with its many petals and tall stature. The Hybrid Tea Rose has been referred to as "your basic rose on a stick." These are the most popular roses to give or receive on special occasions.
A Thorny Issue
Many gardeners avoid the Hybrid Tea Rose because they're turned off by the idea of thorns. Well, good news -- there are several thornless varieties! When shopping, look for roses with tags that read "smooth" on the label. You can find these roses in every color of the rainbow, except blue.

Fragrant Cloud Rose

Fragrant plants can be wonderful in the garden...what is a garden with out at least one?
What could be nicer than sitting on your patio, meandering along your front walk or walking through your rear yard and all of a sudden getting a whiff of a beautiful fragrance? When adding fragrant plants, be sure to place them in areas where they can be appreciated.
Here is one  fragrant plants that I would highly recommend:

Roses
There are so many types of Roses. Not all of them are fragrant. Most of the newer shrub varieties have no fragrance, yet they themselves do have wonderful qualities. Many of them are disease and insect resistant. I think everyone will agree that this is a great asset!

Peace Rose

The infestation in your rose garden is probably thrips. It is characterized with slender, brown-yellow bugs with fringed wings thriving in flower buds. They also suck juices from flower buds. The rose care for this is to cut and discard the infested flowers. Using Orthene and malathion may also treat this health problem of your roses.
